I just installed 11.10 64 bit desktop on Nov 21 2011: hplip was already installed, I just installed hplip-gui, setup my printer and it works. Scanning over the network / wireless just works fine, too.

Die Diskussion klingt interessant und ich sehe sie mir gleich mal an aber wenn man solche Leute zusammensetzt sind die Reibereien schon vorab zu erahnen – es geht ja weniger um Geschmack sondern um festgefahrene Ideologien.

Schade, der dezentrale Aspekt von Wuala war für mich der wesentliche… gibt es den nicht mehr, dann wird es schwierig sich zu etablieren gegen Dropbox, oder iCloud. Oder?
